Alaska has had by far the most and biggest quakes. 9 and bigger. California and cascade zones probably come in second.

Alaska had the biggest earthquake in the US.
Florida is the only US state that has never had an earthquake. Its geological composition is not conducive to seismic activity.
I know the largest and strongest earthquake in the US as in Anchorage Alaska, not positive, I think it was just one. It was early 1900's or late 1800's and destroyed the city.
Alaska
The most earthquake prone part of the US is Alaska. California is the second most earthquake prone state and Hawaii third. According to the USGS National Earthquake Center, there is an earthquake of magnitude 7.0 or greater in the US once every few years.
The 1964 Alaska earthquake (March 27, 1964) had its epicentre in Prince William Sound near Anchorage. The earthquake had a magnitude of 9.2 making it the largest ever to occur in the US, and the 3rd largest ever recorded by seismometer.
Or

Probably, China, Russia, and the US. Possibly UK's in there.

The US has the strongest navy.
one reason is because it's not on a fault line.
The Good Friday Earthquake on March 27, 1964 had its epicenter near Prince Wiliam Sound, Alaska. It lasted about 5 minutes, and caused 131 deaths, but it may not be true. This earthquake was the 4th most powerful earthquake ever recorded, and the most powerful earthquake to have an epicenter in the United States.
Alaska holds the record as the most earthquake-prone state in the US due to its location along the Pacific Ring of Fire, where tectonic plates collide. Its northern location also exposes it to seismic activity from the North American plate.
