bacteria can occur in most any food products if not handled hygeinically but bacteria and food poisoning most commonly come from raw meat and seafood or any other food products that come into contact with those raw meats or seafood or the equipment used to prepare them

bacteria lives in many/ all types of foods. bacteria isn't always to be seen.

Example: if you were to leave an empty plate that someone ate out of for a day, on a table than you eat the left overs, it has so much bacteria! Ewwwwwww!

All foods are likely to contain bacteria. This is not usually harmful unless they are there in great numbers, which can cause food spoilage and/or make us ill. Canned foods should not contain bacteria, as the heat involved in the process kills them, and the sealing of the can keeps them out. Most other preservation processes keep the food from spoiling by preventing the growth of bacteria.
