Timing BELT , for the 3.0 liter V6 engine in a 1995 Infinity J30
Tensioner pulley for the water pump belt on the opposite side of the motor the other side, not the side with the surpentine belt.
Weak tensioner?
Remove surpentine belt, then take out bolt that goes through tensioner to engine.
doesn't have a timing chain- has a surpentine belt
Should have an automatic belt tensioner - if tension not correct replace tensioner
Loosen the bolts on the pump to allow the belt to lose tension. Remove the belt, then put on the new belt. Pull the pump to tighten the belt snug but not over tight while tightening the bolts.
No you can not, It is kept tight by a spring loaded belt tensioner with a smooth pulley on it. Probley needs a belt tensioner on it.
If it is a serpentine belt - adjusts automatically through belt tensioner If not check the alternator for adjuster or Power steering pump
You don't. Serpentine belts are adjusted by a spring loaded device called a belt tensioner. If you belt is loose, then the tensioner is broken.
Water pump,A/C,Power Steering,Alternator,and sometimes a smog pump.
Does infinity fx45 have a timing belt or chain?
