my 1997 Toyota Tacoma has the dash/gauge light burnt out - i would like any help to locate bulb and replace i thank you
The two vents, hazard light switch, and clock are all in one unit. A stiff wire on one side of the vents will pull the unit out enough to pull it out of the dash fairly easily. After removal, disconnect power to the clock and unscrew two screws holding the clock to the dash module.
These are called dash bulbs and can be bought on eBay or your local autoparts store for less than a dollar.
where is the fuse panel in a Infinity QX4
hit it with a hammer then drive it
Usually it means that one or more of fuses is about or already went bad.
Remove the dash panel.....you don't have to tatally remove it...just get it loose enough to get to the back of the clock....use a 6mm socket to remove the lightbulb on the back...replacement bulb is F80F-138765-AA from any Ford dealer. I just paid $8 for 1 with a slight discount. (Aug 09)
The bulb is broken or not connected. If it's accessible remove it and check if it's serviceable. If the clock is from a 1970s Jag it's actually rare if working so don't damage it.
Pull the knob (not push) next to the clock on dash display hour will light up. turn right or left to advance or retreat the clock hour, pull again for minute and again for the date so on and so forth
There is no bulb, the clock is actually an LCD. The clock will have to be replaced.
