To hook up an aftermarket stereo with the Infinity Gold amp and speakers in a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, first disconnect the vehicle's battery. Then, remove the factory stereo and connect the aftermarket stereo using a wiring harness that matches the Jeep's wiring. Make sure to connect the power, ground, and speaker wires accurately, ensuring that the amp's remote turn-on wire is connected to the aftermarket stereo's remote output. Finally, reassemble everything, reconnect the battery, and test the system.
If I remember, turn the stereo on, enter the code using the 6 preset buttons. After the beep, turn the stereo off. Then turn the stereo on and it should be OK. I just pulled my radio to get into the dash.
