I agree this is more of an answer on how these things are generally considered, rather than a specific rule for this issue, if one exists: The date of payment is received almost never matters. It would normally be the date enough of the events have occured/resolved that establish your right to the payment. So in a simple unchalleneged will inheritance...the date of death may well be important...or one could argue, especially if there was any contesting the will or issues with the estate that made the realization of the inheritance by you uncertain...the date the Estate confirmed it.

If an executor of a will waits six months after a bankruptcy to give the bankrupt his inheritance is it safe from the trustee?

Maybe. It depends upon the type of bankruptcy that was filed (state or federal) and the time the bankruptcy petitioner actually was awarded the inheritance, not accepted it. A bankruptcy case is officially finished when it is closed, not discharged.

How long do you have to wait after a bankruptcy discharge to inherit land?

The way this question is worded implies you want to manipulate the inheritance to avoid including it in your bankruptcy. If you become an heir to land or any property (cash, motor vehicle, etc.) prior to filing or while you are in bankruptcy, or within 180 days after discharge, you must disclose the inheritance to the trustee and the court, even if you have not actually received the property. There is no "waiting."

Can an inheritance be taken by the courts or creditors if the will has not been executed and most likely will not be until after filing for Chapter 7?

Some received before the discharge are collectable by the trustee. Whether an inheritance can be included depends on the the type of BK (Federal or State) and the laws that are applicable. If however, the BK has been discharged, no monies are subject to seizure by the truste/court. I'm a little confused by the answer above. There is no such thing as "State bankruptcy," though there are state receiverships which are similar but rare. The only bankruptcy that exists in the U.S. is federal bankruptcy, which is codified in Title 11 of the U.S. Code (though State law does affect the federal bankruptcy laws in each State to a certain extent). It is also not true that once the bankruptcy has been discharged the court can't come after inheritance proceeds. If the inheritance occurs within 180 days after the discharge, the court can still come after the money (see 11 U.S.C. 541 (a)(5)). If the inheritance occurs before or during the case, the debtor has an obligation to notify the court by listing the inheritance on their Schedule B, and the court can then go after the money assuming the State in which the bankruptcy is pending does not allow the debtor to exempt that type of property. Also, actual receipt of the inheritance funds is not necessary, a debtor has to list the inheritance if the debtor knows it is coming even if the debtor hasn't actually received it yet. In some states, one can "disclaim" an inheritance, which means the person can say they don't want it, and the inheritance is protected from the bankruptcy court, but this is complicated and rule-specific and one definitely needs to consult with their attorney about this. Please note that nothing in this posting or in any other posting constitutes legal advice; this is simply my understanding of the facts, which I do not warrant, and I am not suggesting any course of action or inaction to any person.

How does inheritance support multiple inheritance in java in example?

Actually, java does not support multiple inheritance. You can achieve partial multiple inheritance using interfaces but java is not like C or C++ where you can do direct multiple inheritance. However, you can achieve partial multiple inheritance with the help of interfaces. Ex: public class FerrariF12011 extends Ferrari implements Car, Automobile {…} And this is under the assumption that Car and Automobile are interfaces. Here if you see, though you don't inherit concrete code from the Car or the Automobile interface, you do inherit skeleton methods that determine the way your class eventually behaves and hence this can be considered partial Multiple Inheritance.

Inheritance vs instantiation in Java?

Inheritance is simply when you get properties and methods from a superclass, whereas instantiation is actually allocating an object in memory based on your class.

There is no limit actually. But, it is preferable to keep the levels under 6-7 for ease of use and maintenance

Can we implement multiple inheritance in java using package and interface?

Yes. Java does not support full fledged/proper multiple inheritance. How much is the inheritance tax in CA for an inheritance of $10 000?

After you actually receive the funds, there are no taxes to pay on it. Inheritance tax is paid by the estate, so you will receive the net from the estate, not a pre-tax amount. There are several factors taht can influence the amount of tax paid on inheritance. Depending on the amount and circustances the tax can be between 4.5-15%.
