did you pit it in up side down?????????????????????????????
Laser Diode. photo diode
check and make sure u changed turn signal falsher. there are 2, 1 for turn ,and 1 for hazards. other than that, it sounds like your turn signal switch is broken

The alternator diode rectifier converts the AC current being produced by the alternator to DC from which most of the electronics installed and battery use.
superdiode consist of diode and amplifier circuit.it is used for the rectification of small signals
Usually, there is a laser diode that is optically coupled to the fiber.
IN in IN4001 refers to the type of diode. The IN is a designation used by some manufacturers to indicate that it is an axial lead diode. The IN4001 is a commonly used diode in electronics, often used for rectifying AC signals in power supply circuits.
A diode allows current to flow in only one direction. If the current is flowing, the diode has a low resistance and it behaves like a wire or a switch in the on position. If the voltage across the diode is reversed, no current flows and the diode has a very high resistance. It behaves like a switch in the off position. DC voltages are used to switch the diode on or off. The signal that is being switched is usually an AC audio or radio signal. Capacitors block DC but pass AC signals. By combining diodes and capacitors, the AC and DC signals are kept separate and the switch can be built.
AC forward resistance refers to the effective resistance experienced by an alternating current (AC) signal as it passes through a diode in the forward-bias direction. It is influenced by the diode's intrinsic resistance, as well as the capacitance and inductance of the diode. The AC forward resistance can impact the efficiency and performance of the diode in rectifying AC signals.
In shunt clippers, when the diode is in off condition, transmission of input signal must take place to output. But in the case of high frequency input signals, diode capacitance affects the operation of circuit adversely and the signal gets attenuated (which means that, it passes through diode capacitance to ground).
A diode connected in this way is a flyback diode or kickback diode. There are some other names that may be applied. The diode is a protection device. When power to the coil is discontinued, the electromagnetic field around the coil will collapse. The collapse of that field will induce a voltage, and this could expose circuit elements to "kickback" from the field collapse. The polarity of the induced voltage will, however, forward bias the diode, and it will conduct current for an instant. The inductive kickback of the coil will thus be damped by that diode.
Forward bias drop is roughly 0.7V, if signal amplitude is smaller than that it will be lost.
