Relieve the fuel pressure and then remove the fuel tank from the vehicle. Detach the fuel feed line and return line. Oh, on later models these fittings may require a special tool to disconnect them. Remove the mounting bolts and gently lift the fuel pump module from the tank. NOTE: Mark the position the fuel tubes are facing for later installation. Separate the fuel pump from the assembly by removing the lower clamp and disconnecting the electrical connection. Clean all surfaces. Apply a little petroleum jelly to the new seal and reinstall the fuel pump module. Now you need to put it all back in the car !!
