The three thicker poles are inserted into the plastic triangle which forms the top of the tent. Insert a pin on the O ring into each end of the poles. Attach the c-clasps around the poles. The longer poles are inserted in a similar manner. The blue pole is used for the front porch. Attach the c-clasps around the poles. Insert the metal pins through the loops to fully extend and secure the tent before attaching the tarp/rain-fly. The "Greatland" logo goes over the entrance.
Here are the instructions from my Greatland 2-room with canopy tent. The poles are tagged from Black Sheep Ltd, numbered from 1-9 and have red/blue numbers on each pole. Diagram available.
1. Unpack tent and frame.
2. Lay tent on clean, level surface.
3. While fully stretching tent floor, thus eliminating all slack, drive stakes in each of the four (4) corner webbed loops. Now drive remaining stakes into side loops located between corners.
4. Open all windows and doors to facilitate erecting.
5. Check frame sections against diagram.
6. Place the ridge pole sections (Parts No. 1 & 2) of center through the fabric sleeve in the center of the roof, joining female and male. Insert the leg sections (Part No. 6 & 7) into the outer ridge section (Part No. 3) and join the adjustable center pole (Part No. 8) and raise the tent.
7. Place teh ridge pole sections (Part No. 1 & 2) of eave through webbed loops on eave ridges, joining female and male. Insert section (Part No. 3) and raise to the eye level.
8. Tie all tapes to front of elbows.
9. Extend center poles to desired position and adjust corner poles as necessary.
10. Canopy steel poles and guide ropes are included for canopy setup. When tent is setup in the rain, remove center setion of poles so that canopy has maximum slope and rain will not accumulate.
Hope it helps

Spread the tent out on level site. Slide the poles through the pole sleeves. The poles will cause the tent to stand up as they pass through the sleeves. Stake the tent down through the stake loops. Attach the rain fly if desired.
In my greatland 2 room cabin tent there is 37 poles.

looking for new poles for a green and tan two room greatland tent
You can find two poles for the Eddie Bauer 2 room mammoth 14 by 10 tent from the company. You can call or email the company for replacement poles.
If you have the junior dome tent, it's pretty easy. Mine came with two poles, and is 6'x5'. Simply lay the tent out flat, stake the corners, and lay the 2 poles diagonally across it. Feed the poles through the sleeves, and gently push them into the corner pockets one at a time to make the dome. Attach the rain fly on top, and viola. Done.
Camping is a fun, adventurous and affordable activity that can be enjoyed by family and friends of all ages. When preparing for a camping trip, shelter is definitely the first thing to consider. Camping tents are what comes to most people’s minds when considering a shelter for their adventure. Camping tents typically pack down into small, easy to transport packages that are fairly lightweight. This plus the relative affordability makes them an ideal shelter. With the many various camping tent options available out there, choosing what tent will work best is as simple as starting with how many people the tent in question needs to shelter. Ideally, it is a good idea to plan on getting a tent that deemed good for two people more than is actually needed. A two person tent barely has room for two people with zero extra space whatsoever. Two people can be comfortable in a four person tent with room to spread out a bit and space for some of their gear to be nearby. For a family of four, a six person camping tent would be best in that there would be room to sleep without having to touch other people unless by choice. Camping tents with multiple rooms are a great advantage in that one room can keep clean for sleeping while the another room can be used for changing clothes and storing gear. Some features to consider when buying a camping tent that are small things individually but add up to the overall quality of the tent and the camping experience. Heavy duty tent zippers are a plus. Those zippers will be opened and closed countless times, so it is a good idea to be sure they will hold up to such use. Meshing that is tiny and fine in order to keep out all bugs, even noseeums, is important to the comfort of campers. A quality rainfly is a good thing to double check on a camping tent before buying. The rainfly is the tent’s umbrella and a good one will extend down the sides of the tent instead of just on top. It is important to remember that rainflies are waterproof but camping tent walls are only water resistant. By being sure the camping tent has adequate space and can stand up to use, the tent will shelter campers in many adventures to come.
Two options to choose from are The New York Tent Company (nytent.com) and Tent & Trails (tenttrails.com).
The first thing you need is two shelter halfs. It takes two tent poles and the appropriate stakes.
Depending on the nature of the damage there isn't a good way to fix tent poles. Generally if they are bent, you can bend them back into shape, although they sometimes lose their structural integrity, making them susceptible to bending again in the future. Your best bet is to go to a gear shop and replace them altogether.

The Japanese word for 'tent' is テント (tento). The two words are quite similar because テントis an English loanword.
No. The word cursory means brief, hasty, or perfunctory, as in a cursory inspection. The word avid means enthusiastic, zealous, or highly interested. The two words are not exactly antonyms either, although cursory can suggest indifference or disinterest, the opposite of an avid interest.
