He was very peaceful but he advocated a separation between whites and blacks. He urged blacks to start their own organizations and reject regular white based culture. He was also a freedom rider. Remember, the SNCC originally sought to desegregate and make blacks and whites equal and create an equal society. However, after all that stuff about Black Power riling everyone up, Carmichael, leader of SNCC, thought that African Americans should control the struggle themselves. Now he made the SNCC focus more on doing things for black people, to identify themselves as black people, instead of trying to make blacks and white equal and accepting assimilation. I guess that's how he changed civil rights organization. I suppose he was pretty influential so he was able to get a lot of people into getting Black Power pride.
AnswerHe tried to make the world a better place by making whites and blacks friends. He did that so there will be peace on earth and friendly times with blacks and whites.....he tried to make equality for all people so that everyone could do the same
I Personally dont get why blacks are called African-Americans because...For one all black americans are not from AFRICA!!! most of black ppl have more than just african in them...theres asian...european etc..they r not fully africans!!...many africans get offended by this term as well as 'black' americans...there needs to be sum other term made up in the place of "African Americans"...Good one!!!!! I have been asking the same thing forever. Not all blacks are African, so I will never understand it.AIt must be understood that "All Africans are Black and all Blacks are Africans." As long as you are a Blackman you're an African.Yes it is a good question. It started with slavery and the word that began with 'N' was not received well by the blacks. Then they were called 'Blacks' or 'Negros' and then were changed from this to 'African Americans' to try and appease the blacks. The black population have seldom forgotten their roots and most are proud of who they are because their ancestors are from parts of Africa. Thankfully African Americans have come a long way and are actors, attorneys, in the justice system as judges, doctors, in the music business, etc. Still, there are still many poor and suppressed African Americans. In all reality is would be best just to call them Americans and let it be left this way. However, there are some groups that prefer to remind everyone of their heritage and prefer the title 'African American.' I know it's confusing, but today, one can simply ask a black friend how they would like to be referred too and honor them by doing so.
he wanted to give the blacks freedom and make his country a better place and he wanted all black children to have good futures.
The most important institution for blacks after Reconstruction was undoubtedly the black church. Churches gave black people a place all of their own, free from the control of whites.

In most cases, no. Only if the word is the first word in the sentence, or it is a specific name for one specific thing, place or person. Mr. Justice Hugo Black would be capitalized, a black cat would not. The Black Hole of Calcutta or the All Blacks Rugby team of New Zealand would be, but black shoes would not.
actually, the Black Panther Movement was an incredible group of black people that fought for what they believed in physically. they wanted blacks and whites separated but to both have equal rights. it took place in Oakland Cali which was important because most movements about segregation took place in the south.
