The 7th of December 1922. This is not celebrated as an Independence Day. Ireland's national holiday is St. Patrick's Day, which is on the 17th of March.

The Irish Parliament, and the British Parliament, ratified the agreement to grant independence to Ireland in 1922. In 1937 they changed their name from the Irish Free States to Ireland.
