Definitely not. Please do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Weight depends on a lot of factors, including muscle mass and bone structure. Muscle weights far more than fat, and so somone who is in good shape will weigh more than does someone of the same size that is in poor shape. Children/teens tend to be more muscular than adults, and so will weigh more than an adult of the same height. Dieting/weight loss during the prepubescent/early puberty years can result in stunted growth, hormonal abnormalities, infertility in later years, and many other problems. Children at this age SHOULD NOT be put on diets or be overly concerned about their weight, outside of gettting a healthy amount of exercise and eating nutritious, balanced meals.

Sorry love but no, you're a tad overweight which is seriously bad for your health. A healthy weight for your height [according to the government] is between 80 and 105 lbs, it may be difficult to lose 21 lbs but 9 out of 10 children who are overweight will grow up to be overweight, and it is much easier to lose that weight now than when you are older, plus growing up and going through puberty is hard enough without being overweight. But losing weight doesn't have to be difficult, I myself lost 28lbs, just by exercising more, for example by taking the dog for a walk, taking up Netball, karate or some sort of class, you should aim for at least half an hour of exercise a day. Also as well as exercising more, you should eat more healthily [not only will this make you lose weight, it will make your skin look amazing and it will make you feel and look amazing overall] for example by eating salads, or instead of snacking on crisps have a piece of fruit, or look up healthy recipes for your parents to make on the net, I'm sure they'll benefit from it too! Your weight loss won't happen overweight, but I recommend you make changes then weigh yourself each week, if you make an effort, trust me you'll see a change and the more you lose the more motivated you will feel. If you aim to lose roughly 2 lbs a week, which is a healthy amount, you could be a lot healthier and slimmer in 10 weeks! Hope all goes well :)

No not at all. you are 11, still growing. this means maintaining 126 lbs is healthy. as you get taller you will also stretch and get thinner. dont lose weight then you will look unhealthy when you get taller. you are perfect just the way you are.

Not necessarily. Ideal weight for 4'11' female is listed at between 95-100 lbs, but depending upon bone density and build type, 126 lbs may be reasonable.
