It takes 5qt engine oil and about 4 gallons of coolant 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water
the oil mix is 32 to 1 or 50 to 1 for synthetic oil the oil mix is 32 to 1 or 50 to 1 for synthetic oil
50:1
Yes, 20 W 50 motor oil can be used in a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado with a 5.3 liter engine. This oil is great for older model vehicles.
10/40 regular or synthetic I would not use 10/40 unless it was synthetic. Regular 10/40 breaks down too quick. You can also use 10/50 20/50 15/50
50 to1
20-50 wt motor oil OR HD Primary oil
20/50 or 20/30
well it depends on the motor but any thing under 30 is not good if you have a 454 in it it could run up to 50 to 70
The ratio on a 2003 is 50:1 and should be the same for the 2001
any 50 wt will work. rev tech 20w50 is good alt. to hd oil
c5 corvette has bad sending units[ engineer world its called a transducer], $600 to replace since the intake manifold has to be R & R ALSO, when cold the Oil pressure will be in the 70 psi range then when hot, on a stock c5 this happens quickly because GM designed the car to run hot to paSS EMMISSIONS, IT WILL DROP TO APPROX 20 PSI. Normal operationg oil pressure for a 1999 corvette should be anywhere for 50 to 60 psi depending on oil one is using.
