I see that this is posted within a iPhone category so I will assume you mean gaming for an iDevice and by 16 or 8gb you mean Hard drive space.
If this is right here is your answer.
Neither 8gb or 16gb is "Better" for gaming. They Hard Drive space has nothing to do with how well the device will work. It's simple the amount of data that it can hold. If you are a really heavy gamer I recommend you get the 16gb. But of your someone who games but not everyday the 8gb will do u just fine.
