Yes
25 : 1
Since there are 128 ounces in a gallon, to get a 25:1 mix using 1 gallon of gas means you need 128/25 = 5.12 ounces of oil.
Need to know the fuel oil mix for craftsman chainsaw Model #917.353736.
50 to 1 ratio
50:1
75 is 3 times larger than 25
Oil to petrol mix ratio will vary according to chainsaw make and model. Generally if the chainsaw is pre 2000 it will probably be 25:1 (i.e. 25 parts petrol to 1 part oil) Later model chainsaws can be anything from 25:1, 35:1, 40:1 or 50:1. To be safe, you can use 25:1 in all leaner oiled chainsaws but be aware that they will smoke. Always use a high quality 2 stroke engine oil such as super outboard oil or similar. Better to be slightly oily than not.
128 oz in a gallon so for every 25 oz you will need one oz of oil, so 128 divided by 25 is 5.12 oz of oil needed.
That would be 25 parts gas to 1 part oil.For a US gallon that would be 5.9 ounces of oilFor a Litre that would be 1.55 ounces of oil
The 451 is a 25:1 mix or 5.12 oz of oil to a gal of gas.
For 2-cycle oil it is 40:1 and for 30 weight auto oil it is 25:1
