For Second PUC Supplementary exams, 30 is the passing marks.
But if it is your first attempt and you score 30, the board compares your other subjects' marks and if it is pretty manageable, they say its Exempted, and declare it to be Pass.

Clue 1: archeology does not equal charterhouse. no boys for archeology. no boys for charterhouse Clue 2: king's is first. kings is not gordon. gordon is classic. classics is not 1st. kings and charter are not classics. I have 24 squares crossed off - Clue 3: Lawrence is not math and is not pass or third. math is not pass. Clue 4: Lawrence is not econ (thus he is biochem). econ is 3rd. biochem is not charterhouse. biochem is not pass. Clue 5: Lawrence is at canterbury. Thus not 1st. Must be a 2nd up or lower. In lower answer table I have four rows started. Lawrence - canterbury - bio chem - ? Gordon - ? (not Kings or charter) - classics - ? ? - kings - ? - first ? - charter - (econ or math) - ?
