A resting heart rate of 56 is only slightly outside normal range of 60 to 80. Men tend to have lower resting heart rate than women. If one is athletic, then it tends to be lower also.
If 56 is a sudden change from your normal without being athletic, then a medical visit may be prudent. There are a number of medical conditions which can cause a lower heart rate.
Maybe not, A heart rate less than 60 is considered slow sinus braydcardia and if symptomatic then treatment may be given
It may be any one of many things. An example is low thyroid hormone levels.
about 43
The normal heart rate for women is 75-80 beats per minute. That does not mean that every healthy woman has to fall in that range, especially if she is an athlete. If a woman does endurance training, or 'cardio', she may have a heart rate as low as 60 beats per minute, and that would be considered normal for her.
He died of a heart attack at the age of 43.
60-100 is normal HR for all ages and both sexes
probably an arrhythmia... maybe a dangerous one.... if it drops under 40 goto the hospital if its under 60 goto the Dr.
Hi, I have had a AVR and and new Aorta 7 weeks ago, I have just started Cardiac Rehab and my heart rate was running at 120 for an hour, I was fine, but really tired But I think it depends on your age, I am 43. My resting heart rate is 80 - 90 at the moment, but just after the operation for a few weeks it was 107. It would be better to ask you local Cardiac Rehab centre for the best answer.
The normal heart rate for every adult (puberty and beyond) can vary differently from place to place. while in nursing school the guidelines have been 60-100 bpm (beats per minute). However this can be different based on someones normal rate which can differ between different conditions and peoples genetics. However 77 is a perfect rate. If youre concerned about your cardiovascular health you may want to consult your PCP and get some labs drawn. Potassium if youre really worried about your heart rate. I am a licensed nurse in both NY and NM.
% rate = 43/56 * 100% = 130.23
43% of 774 = 43% * 774 = 0.43 * 774 = 332.82
% rate = 56/43 * 100% = 130.24%
Average resting pulse rates are between 60-80 beats per minute but it all depends on how much blood the body needs and how strong the heart is. Elite athletes can have resting heart rates as low as 30-40 b.p.m or even less. It really comes down to how active are you if you are then yes it is if you dont exercise much at all then no it is abnormal. hope ths helps =P
