If you want to be old school techie then "SPO" (Serial Printer Output) was the original name for all visual output medium on computers, because that plus tape was the only output devices that the computer recognised as valid. These days one normally uses Screen or Monitor for all mediums irrespective of if they are Liquid Crystal Display or CRT (Cathode Ray Tube).
