CRT stands for "cathode ray tube" and they are a special kind of vaccuum tube that displays the image in old, standard TVs. LCD stands for "liquid crystal display" and it is a thin, flat electronic display that uses light-modulating properties of liquid crystals in order to give off the image.
If you want to be old school techie then "SPO" (Serial Printer Output) was the original name for all visual output medium on computers, because that plus tape was the only output devices that the computer recognised as valid. These days one normally uses Screen or Monitor for all mediums irrespective of if they are Liquid Crystal Display or CRT (Cathode Ray Tube).
Some disadvantages of liquid crystal displays (LCDs) include limited viewing angles where the screen is harder to see from the side, potential image retention known as ghosting, and the presence of backlight bleed which can affect image quality. Additionally, LCDs can consume more power compared to newer display technologies such as OLED.
One possibility could be Visual Display Device (commonly known as a monitor !)
The Video Display Unit is more commonly known as the monitor or screen.
