Adam is the Hebrew word for man, and so could easily have been intended as a metaphor for all humanity, at least in some passages. Presumably those passages that specifically deal with Adam's children were not intended as covering all humanity. However, even those passages dealing with Adam's relationship with Eve could be metaphorical, as the word Eve means 'life'.
We can never know exactly what the biblical author had in mind, but it seems likely that Adam was used at different times in different senses - for a single, named person, a man in general and for all mankind.
Personification
The first man kind in the world is "ADAM & EVE".
In Greek, "Zoe" refers to life in the sense of vitality and existence, often associated with physical life. "Psyche," on the other hand, refers to the soul, mind, or spirit of a person, encompassing mental and emotional aspects of life. Zoe pertains more to the physical body and life force, while psyche relates more to the mental and emotional aspects of a person.

Yes he did. He made Adam first but then took something out of Adam (man-kind) (a part of his skin I think) and made Eve (woman-kind). Then Eve later listened to a snake who told her to pick a forbidden fruit and eat it. She did and took some back for Adam. A piece of the fruit stuck in his throat creating Adam's apple.Hope this was useful peeps!
