Well I'm pretty sure they do the same thing. Ive never tried allegra. Zyrtec did absolutely nothing for me, so. Try allegra!! If it doesn't work use dayquil. It's magical. Haha hope I helped
can we take zantac, allegra 180 mg and benadryl together
The best over the counter medications for allergies are Zyrtec, Allegra and Benadryl. Zyrtec and Benadryl can cause fatigue so it's best to take it at night.
1st A: Not much difference medically. Both have similar side effect profiles. Check with a pharmacist if you are taking any other prescription or non-prescription medications in combination with either drug, or use an online drug interaction checker such as the one available at www.drugstore.com ------------ 2nd A: Allegra is the only NonSedating antihistamine. The FDA allows pnly Allegra to promote as NONsedating. In fact Allegra is the only antihistamine a pilot can take and fly, all others they have to stay grounded until the medicine wears off. Zyrtec might have a slight advantage when it comes to urticaria, but Allegra has the slight advantage with sneezing, itchy nose, itchy watery red eyes. (European Studies) Allegra has more formulations and when it comes to pediatric use or school age children use, there is no way you could convince me to use Zyrtec, for my child. They have a hard enough time staying awake and focusing in class, I will not allow my kids to be hampered by their allergy medicine. Other than the sedation issue, they are interchangeable. Allegra is metabolized by the Liver Zyrtec is metabolized by the Kidneys
i have been prescribed allegra and adderall. i take both daily without any side effects or interactions.

Zyrtec is an antihistamine prescribed or bought over-the-counter primarily for help with allergies. It works by preventing the release of histamine, which causes the symptoms of allergies. It is used during the day due to its low incidence of drowsiness.
According the their website, yes. The Children's Allegra Oral Suspension is for ages 2-11. You can find more information at their website, which is the name of the medication, .com. The FDA also states the same. I am going to be trying it on my 3 1/2 year old today. The Claritin and the Zyrtec don't seem to work on him, just as they don't on me. Good luck!
Raffia is a fiber from the giant leaves of a palm tree found in Madagascar. Real raffia is seldom found now as it has been replaced by plastic copies.
I just went to the allergist to determine what meds were safe for pregnancy. She took me off the Allegra and recommended Claritin in the morning and Zyrtec at night. Generic brands are fine. She said to NOT get Claritin-D or anything with the D since that hasn't been approved for women who are pregnant or wanting to get pregnant.
WIth most medications, you should take only water. With Zyrtec, you are allowed to take Orange Juice, but you should just take water with it to be safe.
Im not sure.. But I took like 175mg of benadryl and I got sleepy as s@%t.. not high but felt a little out of it :p
