Very much so, mainly Christian. You have other religions as well, but it is predominantly Christian. As with anywhere it is a mixed faith and non-faith (atheist) state. If you are not a Christian you will find yourself in major debate's with others who are Christian's, as many Christians believe that through Christ is the only way to salvation and heaven and all other beliefs are lies spread by an evil being. However for other religions you have some who feel theirs is the only right way. Some religions seek peace upon your own spiritual path, but in the south religion is a subject with multiple views and beliefs. It is NOT my belief to down or degrade anyone for their belief's regardless of what they are or whether or not they believe anything at all. With that said religion is a serious and personal debate among many southerners and if you are not wanting a debate you many want to research or visit like-minded individuals with your own belief or non-belief system.
