Batman: Arkham Asylum is rated T for Teen so it is going to have some violence. It's not going to be too bad since it isn't just geared towards mature audiences.
No, but there are "Wayne Manor" and "Arkham Asylum" levels, which are very similar.
Very good, you could basically walk all around the island. Some parts of the island are closed off from the rest at certain points in the story. Such as a building being locked or confined to one area until a certain goal is completed.
He is at the gates of Arkham City, demanding that the riots end. He doesn't appear physically unril the very end, when Batman exits Arkham City after completing his mission.
Yes.There is a very large area to wander in the game.

Many things are bad about Arkham! - The warden, Quincy Sharp, frequently stalks and kills inmates. - It is home to many dangerous "super-criminals" - Apparently the guards are not very well trained and the security needs to be upgraded since there are frequent breakouts. - It is not a very cleanly facility. - There is an old sewer junction and system under it. - It is located in the Gotham Bay on Arkham Island which has many steep cliffs that are popular suicide locations. - Many people other than inmates die there for a multitude of reasons
Scarecrow uses a gas which he very stupidly calls Fear Gas. In Batman Arkham Asylum, he had a Freddy Kruger like hand with blades that released the toxin into people. In Batman Begins, he sprayed it into them (which made it seem more like a gas). It shows the victim their deepest fears and makes them come to life in front of them. As this happens, I would guess that he see's what they see.
As a matter of fact, Feral Interactive Ltd. is almost finished with their mac version of Batman Arkham City. I am also excited about this game. Very soon you will be able to download the game from the Mac App Store, download it from Feral Interactive's website, or order it from Feral's website.
A Very Arkham City Christmas - 2011 was released on: USA: 19 December 2011
Free online play, Blu-ray Discs, exclusive content (Batman: Arkham Asylum, Red Dead Redemption), high rated exclusive games (Uncharted, Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet), no subscription needed to access all of the content (unlike Xbox 360), internet browser, trophies, it is very quiet, the hard drive is built in (costs more if you buy Xbox 360 and then have to buy a separate hard drive)
At the end of the film, Batman captures The Joker by catching him with a rope when he's falling off a building. He is left hanging there (still very much alive lol) then the police or army, come up and that's all you see. so he was obviously arrested, and that's the last you know of him. :) (r.i.p Heath Ledger :D) xx
