In 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2005 the original Black Sabbath reunited and toured on Osbourne's Ozzfest.
There has been a rumoured new album of material "coming soon" since 2001, but to date, nothing has surfaced, and no formal plans to record or reunite have been made.

"black sabbath", "paranoid", and "master of reality", all by black sabbath, are probably the most phenomenal records in the creation of heavy metal, but i am going to hav to say that "master of puppets" by metallica is the greatest heavy metal album. mop is more important in the improvement and widening of the heavy metal genre.

Black Sabbath used to wait at bigger-bands concerts in case they didn't show up. They never thought that the plan would work until one day the band Jethro Tull didn't show up at one of their concerts and the manager of the concert let Black Sabbath go on instead. The fans were reluctant at first but by the end of the concert they were going crazy for Black Sabbath.
