Well...let's see now... My copy of the periodic table lists "Cs" as "Caesium" (or "Cesium." Whatever turns you on.) rather than "Caesar Salad." There aren't any other entries on the periodic table for "Caesar Salad." So we know it's not an element. We also know it's not hard to separate the various components that go into making a Caesar Salad...just pick out the croutons and wash the lettuce. A compound takes more work than that to separate.
