China's very serious about dealing with GW as shown by its massive investment in renewable energy and reforestation. Problem is, China's ability to keep building coal power stations is what is making it the world's superpower so they're against any binding treaties to stop them from doing so. That's why they destroyed the Copenhagen talks.
