Jesus who is also called the Christ from whom Christianity came said "Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them" (Matthew ch 5).

The law and the prophets came from the Jews who were the chosen people of the Living, Infinite Truth we call God who made heaven and earth and all things in it.
