No, but Cl (with a lowercase L) is the element chlorine.

Ci is actually an element used in the television series sanctuary, i believe it was for cirilium. It was an element found in holow earth. but no, it is not a real element

If you mean CI = carbon-iodide then it's a compound, if you mean Cl (clorine) then it's an element. An element is just one type of atom and no other types (O2, C, Pb, Ag etc...) a compound is two or more types of atoms together (NaCl, CO2, H2O) etc.

I think you mean Cl2 (with an L, not an I) which is not a compound but an element.
