DW is actuallt one of the best drum sets areound. if you buy them, then its a really good investment

It stands for Drum Workshop, Although that is the original meaning, Dw has seemed to drift away from that, and just leave it standing as "DW" , as if these was no ACTUAL meaning behind it.

The fact that they are drum kits. Dixon is a really low-end low quality drum maker while DW is the highest end drum company. Price wise a 5-Piece dixon kit cost 500 or less, and a dw 5-piece kit can cost anywhere from 3000-7000
