It is good and has a lot of graphic material too. I found it very interesting and very sad in many ways also. The book is an overall B+ in my opinion.

What books in the bible did Daniel write?

There were several persons called Daniel in the Bible. In 1 Chronicles, Daniel was the second son of David. Ezramentions a Daniel in the reign of Artaxerxes (465-424 BCE); Nehemiah also mentions a Daniel. Ezekiel talks of a Daniel, who lived early in the Babylonian Exile and whom it compares to Noah and Job, but Ezekiel does not say what he did or was famous for.The most important Daniel in the Bible is the main charactor in the Book of Daniel. That this could not be the same Daniel as the Daniel of Eziekiel is demonstrated by the different time periods described. Ezekiel's Daniel was much too early for the Daniel described in the Book of Daniel. The Daniel in the Book of Daniel is said to have risen to become the second most important person in the Babylonian Empire. After the Persian defeat of the Babylonian Empire, he also became the second most important person in the Persian Empire. He is described as miraculously surviving exotic execution attempts. Tradition says that Daniel actually wrote the Book of Daniel, but evidence internal to the book demonstrates that that could not be the case. Almost all scholars recognise the Book of Daniel as being written by an anonymous author during the third century BCE.

Is Danial any prophet's name?

The difference between "major" prophets and "minor" prophets is, basically, the length of the books attributed to or about them.

Did Daniel marry?

We know nothing about Daniel other than what is found in the second-century BCE Book of Daniel, which is not considered to be entirely reliable on historic detail. There are prior references to a Daniel in the Book of Ezekiel, where he was already compared to Noah and Job, but scholars say that these references must be to another Daniel - the Daniel of the Book of Daniel would have been no more than a boy at the time of Ezekiel.Since the Book of Daniel was written several centuries after the time attributed to Daniel, one should ask whether Daniel was a real person and, if so, how well did the author really know him. Since the Book contains many historic errors, even giving the wrong name for the Persian (not Median) king who released the Jews, it is reasonable to assume that very little about Daniel that was historic had been passed down. In any case, there appears to be no reference to Daniel's marital state.

When did Daniel appear in Persia?

AnswerTo say when Daniel appeared in Persia, we should look at the written records of the Persians themselves. After all, Daniel tells us that he was the second most important person in the Persian Empire, after the king. But the Persian records tell us nothing about Daniel or about any foreigner whe became vizier, or any other high position in the empire. There is nothing in the record of either the Persians or of the contemporary Jews that would help us place Daniel in a Persian context. Even the historical detail of the Book of Daniel differs in fundamental ways from the history as we know it. It is as if the second-century BCE author of the Book of Daniel was writing a novel that only later became accepted as a book of history. Daniel was not part of Persian history.

What was name of the prophet Daniels mother?

The Bible does not provide the name of the prophet Daniel's mother. Daniel is a prominent figure in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament, but personal details about his family, including his mother's name, are not mentioned. As such, any information regarding her name remains unknown.

When and where did the prophet Daniel die?

There is no reference to the death of Daniel in the Book of Daniel, believed by some to have been from the second century BCE, written in the first person and therefore only covering events said to have occurred during his lifetime. There are prior references to a Daniel in the Book of Ezekiel, where he was already compared to Noah and Job, but some scholars say that he would have been a much earlier Daniel, and in any case Ezekiel did not describe this Daniel's death. Although the Book of Daniel says that Daniel was second only to the king in both the Babylonian and the Persian empires, none of the records of either kingdom ever mentioned him, so we can not deduce from secular history when he died or even how late he was still alive, if indeed Daniel was a real, historical person. Is Daniel Radcliffe in danger?

Answer: No, Daniel is just fine. He has good people around him to take care of him. That is not to say that there aren't any crazy stalkers out there. Hopefully he will stay out of danger throughout his career.

What prophecies are in the Book of Daniel?

The Book of Daniel is traditionally attributed to the prophet Daniel, writing during the sixth-century-BCE Babylonian Exile. However, scholars no longer see the book as an eyewitness record, and place its authorship in the second century BCE. Based on its content, many commentators assume that the Book of Daniel was written sometime between 167 and 164 BCE. On these views, Daniel did not write any known book.
