Businessman and Television Host Donald Trump is not at all pursuing the presidency for 2012, he is simply dabbling in the Presidential race by "considering" to run as an independent earlier this year, meeting up will almost all of the Republican Presidential candidates, and agreeing to host one of the Republican Presidential debates only to attract publicity to himself and his show The Apprentice. Although Congressman Ron Paul is a very centrist candidate (socially liberal, economically conservative) he would NEVER consider running with Donald Trump. Paul and Trump agree on very few issues, and their relationship was publicized when Ron Paul announced that he would not attend the Republican debate hosted by Donald Trump, to which Trump responded that Paul was not a "real" candidate and had no chance of winning the election. Ron Paul responded to Trump's criticism with predictions of the debate as being "a clown show" since Trump has practically endorsed Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich.
