Is Dubai a muslin city

The United Arab Emirates (Of which Dubai is the capitol) is a Muslim country.

However they are relatively moderate in the way which they enforce Muslim law in comparison to their neighbour Saudi Arabia.For instance, foreigners are permitted to drink in their country provided they do so in hotels. There is however a limit to this tolerance however. They insist that foreign woman do not dress provocatively and that their heads are covered (but not the face). Drunken behaviour on the street will result in the adherence to Muslim law.

It's neighbour Saudi, being the home of Mecca, the religious centre of the Muslim world if far more strict as they have to hold the respect of the worlds Muslims and uphold their faith. Speaking as a Caucasian Englishman, my first trip to Dubai was wonderful (If a little hot for me), all of the Muslims that I met in my travels then and since, to U.A.E have been pleasant respectable people and I felt safe and welcome everywhere I went.
