Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Christ. It is not mentioned as a holiday in either book of the bible, but it is inspired by the Gospels in the New Testament. Jesus was celebrating Passover at the time of the Last Supper. Passover commemorates the Exodus from Egypt in the Old Testament.
The scripture traditionally read on Easter Sunday is the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, as told in the New Testament of the Bible.
The Old Testament and the New Testament are both parts of the Christian Bible. The Old Testament contains the religious texts of Judaism and sets the foundation for the teachings in the New Testament. The concept of the New Testament is concealed within the Old Testament through prophecies, symbols, and foreshadowing of the coming of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The New Testament then fulfills these prophecies and teachings, providing a continuation and fulfillment of the promises made in the Old Testament.

They focus on the teachings and practices outlined in the New Testament and do not incorporate traditions that are not explicitly mentioned in the Bible.
Not normally, but any new life could be related to Easter as it celebrates Jesus coming back to life. Chicks and bunnies are just cute and everybody likes them! :)
The book of Joshua in the Old Testament is not directly related to any book in the New Testament. However, Joshua is referenced in the New Testament in passages like Hebrews 11:30-31, where his actions are commended for demonstrating faith and obedience.
The two parts of the Bible are the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament contains religious texts primarily focused on the history and laws of ancient Israel, while the New Testament focuses on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the early Christian church. They are related in that the New Testament builds upon the foundation laid out in the Old Testament, with Jesus fulfilling many prophecies and teachings found in the earlier texts.
