No. Though many fans are convinced that Ezio Auditore was a real man because so many of his supporters throughout the games were real (Niccolo Machiavelli, Caterina Sforza, Leonardo da vinci, etc), I assure you that Ezio was entirely fake. And although the town of Monterigionni does exist, the Auditore Villa does not.

only in Assassins Creed II and assassins creed brotherhood ezio is there, and he is going to be on assassins creed reveltions. which probably and unfotunatly is going to be the last assassins creed games. i think, i hope it is not.

∙ 11y agoEzio Auditore da Firenze is a fictional character(not real.) Although many events and characters based in the Assassin's Creed game are based off of real world events and real world people though out history. The history and stories in the game were changed to incorporate the fictional characters made up by the Ubisoft team.
It is recommended that you may do research and learn for yourself the real history and characters of Renaissance Italy and Istanbul.

Da Firenze simply means "from Florence".
However, many of the people that you meet in Assassins Creed II, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood and Assassins Creed: Revelations were real, such as Lorenzo de' Medici, Leonardo da Vinci, Rodrigo Borgia (Pope Alexander VI), Lucrezia Borgia, Cesare Borgia, Niccolò Machiavelli, Caterina Sforza, Girolamo Savanarola.
