press F2 for rename shortcut
make a shortcut, then set a shortcut key by pressing what you want to activate it by... After you press a button of your choice, you must do this added onto the key of your choice, and press, "ctrl + alt + (key)" This should work on any windows explorer on any computer... you are very welcome, have a nice day! :D
Some file management app will help you: File Expert. You can Copy, Cut, Paste, Delete, Create, Sort, Rename, Send, Details, Favorites, Hide, Create Shortcut...You can try it.
click ONCE on the folder, press F2 on the keyboard, type in what you want to call it then press enter
Rename files without right-clicking it to select "Rename"
Try to select a folder and use the F2 key to rename. You may wanted to search Google for complete Ctrl keys :)
Right click on the file, click rename, and rename the file.
Right click on the file and click on rename and then rename it to what ever you want and then if you want a new file extension pit a . And then type in the file extension
All you have to do is right click on it and select Rename.
You rename a directory the same way you rename a file. Use the 'mv' command to rename it.
mv dir1 new_dir mv file file1 rename / move a file or directory
