Nahhh
A 6th grader's parent's should decide whether it is safe for his/her child to join facebook, twitter, myspace, etc.
Yes, it is. Only if your child is friends with people he/she knows. They have to be careful also.
if the child has a facebook , myspace, ect. you can make them give you their password because it will help you out with making them to stay safe
I think that Facebook is a safe site as long as you don't put any personal info on there. PARENTS: If your child is under 12 years old they shouldn't get one but if your child is 12 or older I think that you need to let them get one if they want one. You need to trust them. If you don't the probably don't think you trust them. Go ahead, TRUST YOUR CHILD!!!!!!!!!!!
:) yeah facebook is well safe for kids in high school
According to Facebook's Terms of Use, thirteen year olds may have a Facebook account. However, other things should be considered, including the maturity level of the child and their understanding of how to stay safe on the Internet. Their time spent on Facebook should be monitored by an adult. If the child comes across anything they are uncomfortable with, they should ask the adult to check it out.
It can be safe and unsafe depending on how you use it.
13+ years child are allowed to use Facebook.
To create a child's Facebook account safely and responsibly, parents should ensure the child is at least 13 years old, use the child's real age and information, set privacy settings to limit who can see their posts, monitor their activity regularly, and educate them about online safety and responsible social media use.
No its unsafe.
I think that 13 is a good age to let your child get a facebook. If your child is responsibe enough faceboook is fine for children.
13 is Sid to be the minium as sex offenders are able to talk to them and they arent safe enough and trusted but facebook said that if you trust your child then its Legal!:')
