Gary Devon Blum BLUM, GARY DEVON, 65, died Monday, April 2, 2007. He was an author and a teacher and was preceded in death by his brother, Rudy Blum. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Smith Blum; two sons, Michael and Alex Blum; three sisters, Dana Fitzpatrick, Rita Phillips and Kathy Frederick; four nephews and two nieces; two great-nephews and two great-nieces. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1127 E. Broadway, Louisville, KY. Burial: Tell City, IN. Visitation: 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville and 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorial Gifts: The American Heart Association or the Boy Scouts of America (Lincoln Heritage Council).
