Glendovia was fictionalized on the TV Sitcom Sonny with A Chance and its sequel. However, it is based on a town in Eastern Montana called Glendive where the citizens are as inept as the characters on the sitcom.
Sonny and Tawni are invited on an exchange program to Glendovia because of the success of their "Check-it-Out Girls" sketch, but refuse to go together because of a fight. When Tawni goes she discovers that Glendovia is a wasteland and that the Glendovians think the characters are real check out girls. An exchange student impresses a girl Nico and Grady like so they think it is because of his mustache. They wear a mustache trying to impress her, but they get stuck because of the glue.

Yes it is a real country, but it is not often put on the world wide map of the world so people don't count it as a country.
