Glenfiddich is a single malt Scotch whisky (spelled without the "e") not a Bourbon.

Bourbon whiskey is made from at least 51% corn with other grains, aged in only brand new American oak barrels which have been charred on the inside. No minimum aging period (contrary to popular belief, unless the bottle states "straight whiskey" on the label in which case a minimum of 2 years)

Single Malt whisky, such as Glenfiddich is made from 100% malted barley and aged in any oak barrel for a minimum of 3 years (in the case of Glenfiddich a minimum of 12 years as stated on the label.
