Achilles High School at Achilles (Gloucester Co.), VA, was one of two high schools in Gloucester County during the first half of the 1900's; the other being Botetourt High School located in the Gloucester Courthouse area. These two high schools were combined in about 1954 as Gloucester High School and the two previous high school facilities became the county's two elementary schools, Achilles and Botetourt. So the answer to what was the last graduating (high school) class year at Achilles High School was about 1954. I will research this and further update this response.
