The guitar controllers (for PS2) will work, yes. But the drum/mic controllers, no.
No, there is something different about the two that stops them being compatible.
no.
Yes, you can play Guitar Hero while using your wireless Xbox 360 controller. The wireless standard controller is all I play Guitar Hero with, the guitar is too complicated and the controller just makes everything easier. The only thing I haven't figured out about Guitar Hero when you use the standard controller is how you use the Whammy Bar. Otherwise, the controller is an excellent way to play Guitar Hero.
It is slightly louder than the guitar controller's clicking sound. It sort of depends on how into it the player is and how hard they are hitting the pads. It is nowhere near the volume of a real drum set, as the pads on the controller are rubber.
Rock Band is compatible with most game controllers, including the Guitar Hero: World Tour mic. and guitar. However, since the GH: WT drum set has cymbals, I don't believe that it will be compatible with Rock Band.
No. You have to have a guitar (Can be "Rockband" or "Guitar Hero" guitar or a drum set.)

On the PS2 only, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith and newer support PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360 controllers. Drum kits are cross-compatible with the PS2 versions of GH: World Tour and newer.
