Yes......unless you have a big red rubber ball.
Cerberus was the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. During one of his quests with his brothers Zeua and Poseidon, he found Cerberus and took a liking to him. Cerberus was then given to Hades by the parents because they saw that Hades would take care of him.
Well, one symbol of Hades is the three headed dog, cerberus.
I think its the Hydra because once if you cut one head two more will grow back , while the Cerberus is only the loyal pet of Hades.
In Greek myth Cerberus was a horrific dog who stood watch at the gates of Hades, the world of the dead. Cerberus had three heads (some accounts gave him many more) and was so vicious that he was feared even by the gods. Cerberus is most famous for his role as one of the 12 labors of Hercules, the strong man who ventured to Hades and wrestled Cerberus into submission. Cerberus also appears in the story of Orpheus, who lulled the dog to sleep with music on his way into Hades to search for his lover Eurydice.
no one but Hercules got control of him bare handed :)
No, only that one. Actually the Hydra guarded an entrance to the underworld too -- then Hercules killed it.
Cerberus. The dog with one head but three bodies.
"Percy Jackson himself." The Greek gods didn't "control" monsters the way they show int he movies. MOst of the monsters in Greek myth were the children of Thypon and Echidna. They were usually intelligent to a degree and servants to no one. The only Monster generally associated with Hades was Cerberus (Kerberos), whom he EMPLOYED to guard the entrance to the Underworld. Since Cerberus only had a craving for living meat, the spirits could come in as they pleased, but mortal men could not.
There is no myth to say Persephone did not like Cerberus; certainly the only myth that relates to it is the one in which a task of Heracles makes him go into the Underworld to ask for Cerberus, which he is let to do - if he later beings him back.
No he actually only had one head but eventually they said he had three and no he didn't have three fates he was hades favorite hell hound.
