Halloween is different dates in different places. No one knows this as they just celebrate it at the same time as the US. The real reason for Halloween was to scare away all the bad and evil spirits foe winter. As Australia is another side of the world when its our winter its the US's summer etc. So on the 31st of October the Us is going into winter so that is when they celebrate it. On the 31st of October Australia is going into summer so they is celebrating its at the wrong time. The date that Australia should be celebrating it is when we are going into our winter which is the 31st of may. Australia is shouldn't really be celebrating Halloween. They really just copied the US. But is it fun, so who cares.
