"No, Halloween is not celebrating the devils birthday that's why some people don't celebrate it. The whole purpose is to dress up in evil costumes to scare everyone like the devil.

So yes it is celebrating the devil's birthday."

Only about one sentence of that paragraph is true. Halloween was originally All Hallows Eve, Halloween is said to be a time when all of the spirits have a chance to walk the Earth again (that is why we wear costumes).

It is absolutely NOT the devil's birthday,

and even if it was I would go trick or treating to celebrate HALLOWEEN not the devil's birthday!

the last paragraph is false. only one sentence is true haha! October 31 is the most important day in the satanic year. [It is known as the devil's birthday.] It marks the Celtic new year. It was the end of the growing season. It became a festival of death. On this day, the god of the Celtics was to have called up the spirits of the wicked dead who had died during the past year. At the same time, other evil spirits arose and went about the countryside harassing the people. On October 31, the Celtics expected to be harassed by ghosts, evil spirits and demons; and it was no fun and games to them. They would light bonfires to guide the spirits to their own town and to ward off evil spirits. You can say its was all hallows eve all you want but before that name it was called samhin which mean the lord of death they only changed the name so it wouldn't sound evil. The witch covens have their great annual worship service and offer a blood sacrifice to Satan. All through the year the Satanists sacrifice cats, dogs, and other animals, but on the special day they offer a human being - one of their own children - which they select for this ghoulish murder! This is shocking! It is the Devil's birthday. Instead of "Halloween," perhaps it should be called "Hell-o-ween."

Again calling your bluff. I am Wiccan and I openly celebrate Samhein. Samhein is the Witches New Year and as we don't believe in the Christian creation of the Devil it cannot be the "Devil's Birthday".

History of Samhain

Samhain is known by most folks as Halloween, but for Wiccans and Pagans it's considered a Sabbat to honor the ancestors who came before us. It's a good time to contact the spirit world with a seance, because it's the time when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest.

Contrary to a popular internet-based (and Chick Tract-encouraged) rumor, Samhain was not the name of some ancient Celtic god of death, or of anything else, for that matter. Religious scholars agree that the word Samhain (pronounced "sow-en") comes from the Gaelic "Samhuin," but they're divided on whether it means the end or beginning of summer. After all, when summer is ending here on earth, it's just beginning in the Underworld. Samhain actually refers to the daylight portion of the holiday, on November 1st.

Sunset on Samhain is the beginning of the Celtic New Year. The old year has passed, the harvest has been gathered, cattle and sheep have been brought in from the fields, and the leaves have fallen from the trees. The earth slowly begins to die around us.

This is a good time for us to look at wrapping up the old and preparing for the new in our lives. Think about the things you did in the last twelve months. Have you left anything unresolved? If so, now is the time to wrap things up. Once you've gotten all that unfinished stuff cleared away, and out of your life, then you can begin looking towards the next year.

For some of us, Samhain is when we honor our ancestors who came before us. If you've ever done genealogy research, or if you've had a loved one die in the past year, this is the perfect night to celebrate their memory. If we're fortunate, they will return to communicate with us from beyond the veil, and offer advice, protection and guidance for the upcoming year.

If you want to celebrate Samhain in the Celtic tradition, spread the festivities out over three consecutive days. You can hold a ritual and feast each night. Be flexible, though, so you can work around trick-or-treating schedules!

So before you start putting stuff out there for people to read do some research. You can't believe everything you read on the internet and there is no reason to think everything is evil.
no its not if u don't believe me u don't have to because the truth is on wikipedia. its not because the real name of the holiday is Hallow Eve, but someone rearranged the holiday to Halloween lying that its the devils birthday and all these lies. the meaning of the holiday is to celebrate the loved ones that died in heaven. some goof(s) turned the real holiday into a death feast that its apparentlly not. so don't believe those no affence, lunatics because they arent't reading the truth. don't believe anyone before they have checked their facts that they are WRONG!!!!

No.
No, it is a Pagan festival so just chill its a day to get candy and dress up but watch out last year some lady put crushed glass in her lollies once and children choked on it but she was arrested and the children survived.
