Is Halo 2 for PC a bad game for a 11 year old boy I know it says its for M for Mature but I played halo 1 and it wasn't bad?

Those classifications are put there for a specific purpose, however from personal opinion i would disagree. The game does include Violence, which would be the main cause for this classification, but it is not highly detailed in that aspect but rather encourages a fun and entertaining gameplay. If you are still worried about it, sit down and watch him play, although i dont expect you to see much that would be of great concern. Gameplay might change during online playing, as other players can use offensive language etc. But online gameplay isn't even a necessary part of this game. So in short, my personal opinion is that this game would be fine for a 11 year old boy.
Game-informer (gaming magazine) even wrote a short article about how Halo trilogy should be and will always be a teen in their book
