as long as the flow is not interupted, it is long-living and not directly polluting- one can imagine ( in the wake of Deep Horizon horrors) accidents like drums of paint used to coat the generators falling into the water, leaking, etc- but in normal operation Hydro power is in a sense ( once built) cost free and does not pollute. it has the drawback of being stationary, true of all powerhouse applications. Does that answer your question?
depends on source of said electricity, comes from both renewable and non renewable depending on plant and locale, but renewable more often than not (hydro)
no
Provided water was available in dams, hydro electricity can be produced indefinitely.
Most hydro power is used to generate electricity, which then replaces non-renewable energy from fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas).
Solor , Wind , and Hydro Electricity
No hydro power is water and water is a renewable resource.
Water (hydro electricity from dams).
some electricity from renewable resources like solar and wind power and hydro
electricity is renewable
Solar and Hydro electricity
The most popular renewable energy sources currently are: Solar energy. Wind energy. Hydro energy. Tidal energy. Geothermal energy. Biomass energy.
Hydro-electricity is renewable because the rain keeps falling into rivers and dams. When it stops, then hydro won't be renewable any more.
