ID Watchdog through its affiliation with Global Gold Inc in Las Vegas (aka First National Gold and First Plus Platinum) is a company to be wary of, as their marketing strategies leave a lot to be desired. Their abilities and methods to protect the consumer appear to be quite sketchy. I would stay clear for the time being and investigate other companies in this industry for your personal protection. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- : The owners appear to be per the SEC Filing FORM SB-2 : all found on the internet : http://www.secinfo.com/d11MXs.u1tW3.htm : Daryl Yurek, Chief Executive Officer : Justin Yurek : Eric Lunstrum : Scott J. Wachtel : Brandon Dale : Richard Hall : Keith G. Rickard : Murray Atkins : K. Dieter Heidrich : It would appear that the affiliation with First National Gold is due more to poor marketing and low revenue. : "Risks related to the compay" Quoted from SEC form : "We have had insufficient operating income. : We have a limited operating history, have generated limited revenues and have had no operating income to date. There is no assurance that we will ever generate significant or sufficient revenue, be profitable, or that we will meet our projections. We will not be able to generate significant revenues unless we successfully gain market acceptance and successfully compete with our competition, all of which will involve substantial risk." : Per the norm - read everything carefully. Ditto -If you are on http://www.idwatchdog.com or http://www.firstnationalgold.com BE SURE to read EVERYTHING....the First National Gold/Global Gold/First Platinum Plus offers are meant to lure in the desparate and unsuspecting...BE CAREFUL on these sites!!! Erik Hansen is marketing director for ID Watchdog, and I have yet to find out who the marketing arm is for Global Gold | First National Gold | First Plus Platinum. More to follow. Erik Hansen | ID Watchdog | 1-800-970-5182 ext 113 There is more info on this operation to be found in Las Vegas.

Is the First National Gold card with a 7500 credit a scam?

Yes. It is regular merchandise, overpriced, and you have to make a huge down payment to complete the order. Worse yet, they sneak in a membership to ID Watchdog at $19.95 mo and Vcom at $12.95 mo. First National Gold's membership is $39.95....Your total charges, even if you don't use the service or know that you have it is $72.85 per month.Global Golda aka First National Gold aka First Plus Platinum aka First Universal Platinum is a total scam. This is the reason the company goes by so many different names. If you look, they all have the awarecart.com in their online address. While they make you believe you are paying $2.78 for a credit account, they add a bunch of hidden charges at the bottom of the page, most of the time with a size 6 or 8 font. There is not even a check box that you have seen the other add on offers. They will automatically charge you for VComm voicemail service and ID Watchdog. So check your accounts, because most likely there are charges there. These products are not even in the Terms and Conditions but hidden at the bottom of the screen, way below the submit button. It is possible that all 3 of these things are actually the same company hiding behind other names.
