I'm not aware that ISIS forces have ever encountered the Israeli Defense Forces on the battlefield. However, the IDF is far better organized and has better discipline than any other Middle East fighting force, so it's unlikely that ISIS forces would be able to successfully engage the IDF in combat.

What we can say with some certainty is that where ISIS troops have encountered US forces in the field, they have been defeated.

ISIL has chosen not to engage with Israeli forces along the Syrian border, preferring to limit their war exclusively to Iraq and Syria until they can stabilize their holdings in those countries.
