Depends on how one calculates. Islam is the second-largest faith (after Christianity) and is adding the most adherents per year, so on gross "body-count," the answer is "yes." However, the greater part of this is due to birthrate in Islamic countries rather than by conversion. Most Islamic countries are poor ones, and poor people tend to overproduce children as they have no faith in the government to take care of them in their old age, or that enough of their children will live into adulthood and be able to take over the family farm or small business. By contrast, most Christian-dominant countries tend to be wealthier and have social safety nets and good medical care, so their birthrates tend to be much lower.

In terms of PERCENTAGE of growth, neither Islam nor Christianity are anywhere near the rates of the smaller faiths such as Bahai, Wicca, or Asatru.

Muslims often cite the "fastest growing" claim as though it somehow demonstrated the superiority of their ideas, but in practical terms their "accomplishment" is a rather shameful thing, since it keeps their people poor, sick, and resentful of those who - though better population growth - enjoy more material goods.
