It is a question of size vs. weaponry. The Iranian military is much larger than the Israeli military but the Israeli military is more alert and better equipped. However, in a head to head confrontation, Iran would have the upper hand because its technology is advanced enough that it could overwhelm the much smaller Israeli army.
